Fly Fishing for Bull Trout

Heading into a hole that has been known to produce some very nice bull trout in the past. I am a little bit early this year but the lack of snow pack should have the water level looking pretty good already. There should be some steelhead in the river as well. That same day I landed a30 incher way down in the rapids that broke my 6wt rod. I had to leave my buddies so I did not get any pictures. Too bad he was a nice one. I caught the 28" with the broken rod. Now I go with an 8wt. Well, I'll let you know how it went when I get back in a couple of days.
